On a plane i dreamt that i was falling off of a cliff. meaning please?

it started out where i was in a snowy room, and i was being chased by this black m (i couldn't make it out) and then the senory changed to a desert like turrain. while i kept running from that black m i fell from a cliff. as i fell the black m was right next to me. and just before i hit the rocky bottom below i woke up shivering.
